25 Third-Graders Participated in the Chester Community Charter School Thanksgiving Performance

For the fifth year in a row, the entire third-grade Enrichment Class performed the play.

Chester, PA, November 20, 2018– Recently, more than 25 third-graders of Chester Community Charter School ’s (CCCS) East B Campus performed, “The First Thanksgiving.” The play was held at three different times, in the East B Campus cafeteria, to accommodate CCCS faculty, staff, students, parents, guardians and guests.

For the fifth year in a row, the entire third-grade Enrichment Class performed the play. “The children worked hard to learn their lines, and put on a great show,” stated Lori Schwartz, Third Grade Enrichment Teacher, CCCS East B Campus. The show was used to showcase the students’ presentation skills, class camaraderie, social skills, and teamwork, all while also allowing them to be part of a truly fun and creative experience.

The students wore costumes, created props and held signs to bring the play to life. “The First Thanksgiving”was a story about how two very different groups of people came together, on the first Thanksgiving, to share ideas and cultures.
